B & B Collections is a comics/toy store which caters to Jonesboro’s collectors. It is one of those shops that goes above and beyond when serving their community. They hold monthly events where they will bring in an author or artist for the community to meet, and on those days they invite local collectors to setup outside their shop as vendors often getting dozens of tables, and hundreds of people who travel from miles around to show up for the event! I love it when people buy local because it keeps the dollars circulating in our community, but I love it even more when a local business attracts customers from other towns or counties!

I met with Brandon Jones, one of the co-owners of the shop and we talked about our mutual experiences of running conventions. I co-run NEA Game Fest, a charity tabletop gaming convention which raises money for The Children’s Shelter. B & B Collections just wrapped up Nerds Assemble, their inaugural comic book convention. They brought in outside guests, tons of vendors, and lots of gaming and cosplay.

B & B Collections offers a colorful, and family friendly store where nerdy parents can share their love of comics and toys with their kids. Between monthly events and annual cons, I think they are a fantastic local business that goes above and beyond to provide great events for the Jonesboro community!
